Welcome to the webpage for Mrs. Killen's Clinton-Massie High School AP and CCP English students! We want your research experience at Watson to be a good one. This online guide will give you starting points and next steps in your research process as you complete your assignments.
OPAL is Watson's online library catalog for books, e-books and other media.
Watson Library's online catalog of books, ebooks, videos, e-videos, and journal subscriptions (but not articles). Find articles by using OhioLINK Article Databases.
Looking for articles in magazines and scholarly journals? Watson librarians recommend beginning with the databases Academic Search Complete and MasterFile Premier. MasterFile Premier offers popular magazines and some scholarly research articles, while Academic Search Complete features more scholarly journal content with some magazines. Check your course tabs in this Libguide for other databases that best fit your assignments, or Ask Us!
Academic Search Complete includes rigorous curation and indexing of open access (OA) journals, which has resulted in a growing collection of 5,217 active global OA journals. Once validated and certified for inclusion, these OA journals are treated with high-quality subject indexing and sophisticated, precise/accurate full-text linking.
EBSCO also offers their own mobile app experience, click here to learn more.
Designed specifically for public libraries, MasterFILE Premier provides a robust collection of full-text magazines, e-books and primary source documents. It also includes an extensive image collection.
