Watson Library Information Literacy Worksheet Set required for EN101.
What to do?
First: Read and interact with the activity boxes in each Libguide tab, # 1 - 7 - the blue tabs above. Try 3 sessions - Tabs 1 and 2, tabs 3 and 4, finally tabs 5, 6, and 7.
Next: Answer related Tab questions on the worksheets (online with MSWord using your saved .doc or print/write clearly on the distributed worksheets). Estimated time to complete the module is about 2.5 hrs. Remember, you are investing in skill development for college and career success!
Finally: Within one week of your Watson tour (or as your faculty directs), turn in your completed worksheets to your EN101 professor, who will review your work and assign homework or point value as they choose.
Success Tip: Watson Librarians are available by appointment or by walk-in these hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Wednesday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday and Friday.

Here at Wilmington College Watson Library, we call these dimensions of inquiry the QUAKER model of inquiry:
QU - Question - topic selection
AK - Acquiring Knowledge/ by locating / reading multiple sources of information
E - Evaluating Information and research strategies, Engage actively by applying the information, Engage others with your project through various types of presentations, and cite Ethically your sources.
R - Review-repeat process as needed to complete project with standards of excellence, Reflect on your process and your presentation product
Where is Watson Library? Why should I visit? When can I visit?
WHERE'S WATSON LIBRARY?
The Watson Library building is located directly behind College Hall, off College Street. Whether you visit the library as bricks or clicks, you will need to use Watson's online site. Accommodation entrance is on the College Hall side.
As an active student, faculty member, or staff member of Wilmington College, you are entitled to access Watson resources, both bricks and clicks. Watson's excellent quality resources meet the requirements of course projects.
